This admission enables CityUHK (DG) to deepen its participation in China’s national strategy for education-technology integration, thereby serving the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Leveraging the Alliance’s platform, CityUHK (DG) will collaborate with member institutions on academic exchange, joint talent cultivation, research infrastructure and faculty development. Looking ahead, CityUHK (DG) will harness the Alliance’s network to integrate regional higher education resources, cultivating top-tier talents and supporting the innovation-driven development in the GBA. About the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance Established in 2016, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance was co-initiated by Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and University of Macau (UM). The Alliance aims to optimise the premium teaching and research resources, and extend the current efforts of elite universities in promoting academic cooperation across the three regions. It serves as a pivotal platform for advancing scientific, educational and cultural exchange, to support the development of the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative.
