Student Scholarships and Financial Aid


To encourage the holistic development of students, CityUHK(DG) has offered a range of Student Scholarships and Financial Aid to provide strong support for student growth.

I. University Honors

To promote students’ all-round development, the University has set up a variety of student honorary awards, including admission scholarship, general scholarship, international exchange scholarship, and holistic development scholarship.

1. Admission Scholarship

To attract outstanding students to pursue their degrees at CityUHK (DG), the University offers generous admission scholarships. The specific policies can be found on the University’s admission website.

2. International Exchange Scholarship

To cultivate talents with global perspectives and competitiveness, the University has set up an overseas exchange funding programme for students in 2025-2026, which includes the CityUHK Special Exchange Scholarship, the CityUHK (DG) Undergraduate Overseas Exchange Scholarship, the CityUHK (DG) Postgraduate Overseas Exchange Scholarship, and the CityUHK (DG) Student Overseas Practice Scholarship.

These Measures apply to all full-time enrolled undergraduate and postgraduate students, and offer the CityUHK Special Exchange Scholarship, the CityUHK (DG) Undergraduate Overseas Exchange Scholarship, the CityUHK (DG) Postgraduate Overseas Exchange Scholarship, and the CityUHK (DG) Student Overseas Practice Scholarship. II. Funding Programmes

1. National Financial Aid

Financially disadvantaged students will be supported, with selection carried out in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Ministry of Education’s official guidelines.

2. "China Development Bank" Chinese Student-Origin Location Education Loan

Eligible Students should apply through Local Student Financial Aid authority in their place of origin or to the China Development Bank.

3. Green Channel

A student financial assistance policy to ensure that new students from financially disadvantaged families can enroll smoothly.


III. Campus Internship

To encourage students to participate deeply in the development of the school and cultivate their excellent qualities of self-reliance, self-strengthening, and courage to take responsibility, a campus internship program has been established.
