From February 7 to 10, the City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) Innovation Winter Camp – PROJECT X was successfully launched on campus. A total of 60 outstanding high school students from leading feeder schools across the Greater Bay Area were selected to participate in a four-day program featuring innovation-focused learning and integrated hands-on practice.
Centered on the two core themes of innovation and diversified development, the Winter Camp offered a series of well-structured learning experiences, including in-depth visits to innovation ecosystems, frontier lectures led by academicians, tiered training in intelligent equipment, and campus-based collaborative challenge activities. The program aimed to guide students into real-world technological innovation scenarios, broaden their perspectives, enhance engineering practice capabilities, and cultivate comprehensive learning competencies—enabling them to understand innovation through practice and achieve holistic growth through collaboration.
At 18:00 today, the Winter Camp will conclude with its final event, “Songshan Lake Night,” to be held at the Chen Zihong Auditorium, AC5 Building. Participants will present their learning outcomes and reflections through project roadshows and interactive sessions.
